Marking a major breakthrough in regional aviation, Saudi Arabia’s new carrier, Riyadh Air, officially commenced scheduled operations to Pakistan as its inaugural flight touched down at Islamabad International Airport. The milestone connectivity initiative establishes a vital new corridor to expand commercial aviation, tourism, and bilateral trade between Riyadh and Islamabad.

High-Level Delegation Welcomes Maiden Flight

The arrival was marked by a formal reception led by the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Pakistan, H.E. Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, alongside Director General of Protocol Abdulaziz Al-Ghamdi and Commercial Attaché Naif Al-Harbi. Senior representatives from Pakistan’s Ministry of Defence and civil aviation authorities were also present to mark the inaugural landing.
