Pakistan Strongly Condemns US Strikes on Iranian Nuclear Sites: Foreign Office<\/strong><\/h1>\n

Islamabad \u2013 June 22, 2025:<\/strong> Pakistan has strongly condemned the recent United States airstrikes on Iran\u2019s nuclear facilities, calling them a dangerous continuation of Israeli aggression and a violation of international law.<\/p>\n

In a statement issued by the Foreign Office on Sunday, the spokesperson expressed deep concern over the escalating tensions in the region following the US attacks. \u201cThe US strikes on Iranian nuclear installations are a direct violation of international legal norms and represent a continuation of Israel\u2019s military campaign,\u201d the statement read.<\/p>\n

The Foreign Office emphasized that such aggression would only exacerbate regional instability and increase the risk of violence. \u201cThe growing hostility and military action against Iran are causing a serious escalation in tensions, which could have severe consequences not just for the Middle East, but for the entire world.\u201d<\/p>\n

Referring to the principles of the United Nations Charter, the spokesperson asserted that Iran has the legitimate right to defend itself. \u201cUnder Article 51 of the UN Charter, Iran is entitled to take necessary measures for its self-defense against acts of aggression,\u201d the statement added.<\/p>\n

Calling for immediate de-escalation, Pakistan urged all parties to act with restraint and adhere to international humanitarian laws. \u201cThe only viable path to resolving regional disputes is through dialogue and diplomacy,\u201d the spokesperson said. \u201cA peaceful resolution in accordance with the UN Charter and international legal norms is essential.\u201d<\/p>\n
