World’s Richest Families 2025:International business magazine Bloomberg has released its latest list titled “World’s Richest Families of 2025.”
According to the report, the combined wealth of the world’s top 25 richest families increased by $358.7 billion over the past year, taking their total net worth to $2.9 trillion.
The list also highlights three influential families from the Arab world.
The ruling Al Nahyan family of the United Arab Emirates has been ranked as the second richest family in the world, with an estimated wealth of $335.9 billion.
Saudi Arabia’s royal Al Saud family secured the third position, with total assets valued at $213.6 billion.
Meanwhile, Qatar’s ruling Al Thani family ranked fourth on Bloomberg’s 2025 list, with an estimated net worth of $199.5 billion.
Topping the list is the Walton family of the United States, owners of global retail giant Walmart. Bloomberg estimates the Walton family’s wealth at $513.4 billion, making them the richest family in the world.
The report notes that these families continue to strengthen their influence not only through wealth, but also across global business and economic systems.
