US President Trump Announces Ceasefire Between Iran and Israel
U.S. President Donald Trump has officially announced a ceasefire agreement between Iran and Israel, marking what he described as the “end of a war that could have destroyed the entire Middle East.”
Speaking from the White House, President Trump confirmed that both Tehran and Tel Aviv have reached a complete and structured agreement on a 12-hour ceasefire that will ultimately bring an end to the 12-day-long conflict.
“Iran and Israel will conclude their ongoing final military operations. The ceasefire will begin formally with Iran, followed by Israel six hours later. After 24 hours of mutual restraint, the war will be officially over,” President Trump stated.
According to the agreement, both sides have pledged to remain peaceful while the other observes the ceasefire period. The structured de-escalation is being hailed as a rare diplomatic success amid heightened regional tensions.

The ceasefire plan has already been communicated to key international partners and is expected to receive global endorsement. President Trump ended his statement with a solemn prayer:
