IRGC Commander Warns of ‘Exemplary’ Retaliation if Iran’s Infrastructure is Targeted
TEHRAN – In a sharp escalation of rhetoric, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has issued a stern warning against any foreign strikes on Iran’s critical infrastructure. Major General Ali Abdollahi, Commander of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, stated that any aggression would be met with a response that would serve as a “lesson to the world.”

The Commander dismissed recent threats from the U.S. President as signs of desperation following military setbacks. “Since the beginning of this conflict, we have matched our words with actions,” General Abdollahi remarked, emphasizing that Iranian forces have fully implemented their strategic plans.
Regional Consequences of Aggression
Parallel to the General’s statement, an IRGC spokesperson warned that further aggression would trigger a “severe reaction” across the entire region. The spokesperson claimed that those dreaming of defeating Iran are already “trapped in a quagmire,” suggesting that any expansion of the conflict would involve a multi-front regional response.
