The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has officially announced a large-scale retaliatory operation following the killing of senior leader Ali Larijani. After the announcement  a wave of strikes across the region, pushed the Middle East toward a full-scale war.

A spokesperson for the IRGC stated that Larijani’s martyrdom has become a symbol of national awakening. “The sacrifice of our martyrs will never be forgotten, and the account for their blood will be settled,” the statement read, adding that morale against Zionist forces is at an all-time high.

Multi-Front Escalation: Israel, UAE, and Iraq Hit

Following the IRGC’s declaration, sirens blared across Tel Aviv and Jerusalem. Iran significantly expanded its target list:

• United Arab Emirates: Multiple drone strikes were reported targeting strategic locations in the UAE.

• Baghdad, Iraq: A US diplomatic and military center near Baghdad International Airport was targeted by Iranian projectiles.

Diplomatic Warning: US Bases Labeled “Legitimate Targets”

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, in a high-level call with his Azerbaijani counterpart, clarified Iran’s military doctrine. He warned that any country hosting US military bases must understand those facilities are now considered legitimate targets for Iranian forces.
