Pakistan Railways to Operate 4 Special Trains for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026

Travel Schedule Released: Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar to be Connected for Holiday Rush

LAHORE – To facilitate passengers during the festive season, Pakistan Railways has announced the operation of four special trains for Eid-ul-Fitr 2026. The decision, made on the directives of the Minister for Railways, aims to accommodate the high volume of travelers heading home for the holidays.

According to a spokesperson for Pakistan Railways, the special operations will begin mid-March, connecting major hubs including Karachi, Lahore, Quetta, and Peshawar.

The Official Schedule:

• First Special Train: Departs March 16 from Lahore to Karachi.

• Second Special Train: Departs March 17 from Quetta to Rawalpindi.

• Third Special Train: Departs March 17 from Karachi to Peshawar.

• Fourth Special Train: Departs March 18 from Karachi to Lahore.

Railway authorities have advised passengers to book their tickets in advance through the official mobile app or at railway stations to avoid the last-minute rush.
